A wide angle lens replaces (temporarily) your standard lens, while a wide angle lens converter screws onto the front of your existing lens (it requires that you get the right one based on the filter thread at the front of your lens).
If it were that simple we'd all be using wide angle converters and there would be no market for wide angle lenses, however there is, so why? Well, the reason is very simple, every wide angle converter I've seen causes horrendous chromatic aberration. That's to say that the colours of light are not focused properly and so especially at the extremes of the image and at edges within the photo you can see the colours separating. You can use this to artistic effect, but with little control, it's more often just plain annoying and makes your photos valueless!
Even the best wide angle lens is going to display some chromatic aberration, but far far far less than a wide angle converter will.

Diconnect the video card and plug it into onboard, I which your computer have onboard graphic card / or you did not changed it on the graphic card.
and press F8 and you will have option there enable VGA mode try that.
See if your video card may have HDMI port, hook it up with TV then.
Try high resolution support monitor and change it.
If no go try boot from cd Operating system re-installation.

I recommend the Dell G2410. It's a 24-inch LED monitor which will work with your iMac (though you need to buy an adapter to connect it). It costs around $300 but has image quality comparable to the $800 Apple LED Cinema Display.

It depends on your tension and yarn size. If you have already started the blanket, take a tape measure and measure out 1" in the middle and count how many stitches and how many rows are in that 1". Then divide the number of stitches you got into the 75 stitches you are working and that number will be how many inches you have. To determine how many rows, use the number of rows in 1" and multiply by the number of inches you want the finished blanket to be.
If you haven't started the blanket yet, knit a 1" square swatch and measure and follow the procedure above.

The answer is 99.8% YES!! Contrary to popular belief Windows will NOT show display resolutions that exceed the laptop LCD screen's capability. As soon as you plug in your new monitor and boot up to Windows, the screen resolution slider in display properties will have changed to reflect the higher resolutions that the new monitor is capable of.
In fact the Go 7700 made by NVidia has a maximum screen resolution of exactly 2048 x 1536 85Hz. That is why I did not use 100%. The kicker is the 85Hz part! I do not think the monitor is capable of this refresh rate and you may not get a picture at all; you might get a picture at 75Hz but at what cost, wavy lines, distortion, etc…
The native resolution of the HP LP3065 is 2048 x 1600 60Hz. The frequency ranges for this monitor are 100Hz horizontal and 60Hz vertical, that is it, 60Hz is the limitation.
For verification you will need to actually call HP and ask because although the maximum screen resolution of the GO 7700 is very close to the native screen resolution of the HP, the frequency ranges do not match.
I hope this is clear because you do not want to operate that monitor at a different resolution then the native.
I would take my Acer down to the local BIG STORE and ask to see the monitor. They want you to buy the thing so they will let you hook up and see, free of charge.

There is a chance that it is something simple like the VGA cable that you use to connect it to the PC being bad, but for being that old, It is not unlikely that the monitor is just dying.
