Your print was either not mounted correctly or maybe you have moved to a dirrerent climate. If I had paid that much to have something framed I would be contacting the framer to ask your question. Do not attempt to correct this on your own you could make matters worse. No framing job takes more than a few hours. I have helped my husband frame many of his paintings and drawings and we usually get several pieces done in one day.

125dpi should be acceptable from a normal viewing distance that one would look at that size enlargement. Close up it will appear softer, and the image will definitely be degraded under magnification though.

I would stick to the classic format for your paper CV cause formal and format rules apply in every job. Then you have to think about how to 'pep' it up a little. Include some work or ideas and maybe try to translate your cv into a brochure, virtual tour or something.
