Well as long as the memory has not been subjected to static discharges or overheating, the memory modules should outlast the computer itself. Before I went and bought new memory, I think I would try removing the chips and reinserting them. This usually fixes 95% of all memory chip related problems. Sometimes heat causes the chips to get loose. Removing them and reinserting them usually bring back the nice tight fit that they require. Oh I would take the battery out and unplug the power cord for 10-15 minutes before touching the memory chips.
I’m trying to configure Windows Firewall with Advanced Security to log and tell me when programs are trying to make outbound requests. I previously tried installing ZoneAlarm, which worked wonders for me with this in XP, but now, I’m unable to install ZA on Win7. My question is, is it possible to somehow monitor a log or get notifications when a program tries to do that if I set all outbound connections to auto-block, so that I can then create a specific rule for the program and block it.?

The motherboard's onboard video port is usually disabled if you have an add-on video card inserted into an expansion slot. I don't think that will work.
No harm in trying though, so give it a shot and see what happens.
Try a different monitor and compare.

If that happened to me I'd be very surprised because I had the 4550 and reinstalled Windows XP several times over the 5 years I ran it and without even downloading from Dell, the drivers to make everything work are on the original "Drivers And Utilities" CD, which is separate from the Installation CD.

No, if you have overwritten your partition or deleted it and tried to install xp again, theres not much you can do unless you get the recovery discs from Dell.
You can’t play full 1080p without either a vga/dvi cable or a HDMI cable. All 3 of these are capable of achieving 1080p.

i think that if you need one for graphic arts and for a career, you should take the 15inch. But if it’s just for youtubing and stuff like that , games ect the 13inch is perfect

I see you have the 3008 I heard they have alot more input lag than the 3007 which I’ve seen recommending for gaming, especially fps’s. Have you noticed anything as far as response time lag. Awesome set up btw.
Depends on the monitor. There are a lot of monitors that have such a thin edge its a seamless transition.
