I don't you'll get very far with integrated graphics, and if the monitor has hdmi, it must pretty high end, I wouldn't use it on anything with a res higher than 1280x800.

I have a feeling anything heavy CAD will bring it to it's knees, especially when outputting to a 24" monitor.

Large format monitors are normallly used for public displays. The resolution is lower than monitors normally used for pcs. This makes text and images larger because the pixels aren't as close together.

Power from the PC not should not effect the monitors. Its the graphics video card that decides whether or not it can power the monitors. First check the video card and see if it has duo monitor output, this can be VGA or HDMI or DVI. The native resolution of the Monitor is 2560 X 1600. You will need a medium end graphics card to power this, your pc has a Nvidia 9800GT with 512MB of ram and two DVI outputs. This card will definitely work. (I checked the NVIDIA Website for a 9800GT resolutions). You might see a little chopiness if you try some highend game, but for video editting and photo manipulation you do have enough power. Your System Memory of 8GB is fine too. You will have no doubt a kick-butt system.

Your monitor really has nothing to do with your power supply. Those monitors require two DVI connections each. That computer only has 2 DVI ports. In order to run both of those monitors you would need to purchase another video card with dual DVI ports in which case your power supply would come into play. Your power supply would have to be able to support dual video cards. The wattage of your power supply isn't listed on that page so I can't say. But it would really depend on the video card as well. Higher end gaming cards require a lot more wattage than a plain jane dual DVI video card. It all depends on what you get.

it gets it's power from the power cord, the cord going into the computer is just what the computer sends to the screen to show up.

I've used the Dell 3007WFP and the Apple Cinema Display. I was amazed that both panels I received had absolutely no dead pixels, considering that they both have 4,096,000 pixels in the panel.

I didn't like the fact that both the 3007WFP and the ACD only has a single DVI port.

Recently I just got rid of my 3007WFP and bought an HP LP3065 instead, which has 3 DVI inputs, so I can switch back and forth between my PC, my Playstation 3, and my Macbook Pro laptop.

All three are WQXGA monitors that display 2560x1600 resolution (4,096,000 pixels), and their image quality are comparable. But I like the HP the most because of the multiple inputs.

Hope this helps.
