Is GTX 280 OC good enough for a 30-inch 2560×1600 monitor?

just for refernce a GTX 285=1 GPU and is 100 dollars more and 295 is 200 dollars more but it is essetially 2 GTX 260s taped together. Also I want to play some serious games on this like far cry 2, left 4 dead, crysis, assassins creed and bioshock, u know not just to run it. haha I have a 15 inch 1024x768 monitor with 8500 gt now Im goin to 30 inch 2560x1600 with GTX 280 or something else!
